The jackpot soared to $1.1 billion after no one collected the $940 million top prize in Friday night’s drawing.

Tuesday, January 10 at 11:00 PM EST. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday night at 11:00 p.m

The Ohio Lottery says ticket sales end at 10:45 PM EST on the day of the drawing. Blackout times vary by state.

You can choose one of two options:

• 30 annual payments
• One-time cash payment option

“The jackpot is divided equally between the number of winning tickets”, says the Ohio Lottery.

One of 302,575,350. This means you have matched all five white balls with the Mega Ball.

Didn’t win the jackpot? Be sure to check your tickets as they may have won smaller prizes. Here are the odds:

• $10,000 prize: One of 931,001 (matches four white balls and a mega ball)
• $500 Prize: One of 38,792 (matches four white balls)
• $200 Prize: One of 14,547 (matches three white balls and a Mega Ball)
• $10 prize: One of 606 (matches three white balls)
• $10 prize: One of 693 (matches two white balls and a mega ball)
• $4 Prize: One of 89 (matches one white ball and mega ball)
• $2 Prize: One of 37 (matches Mega Ball)

For an additional $1 per ticket, players can add the Megaplier option, which pays an increased amount for various prizes.

“Mega Millions players who win prize levels between $1 and $1,000,000 can have their Mega Millions prize multiplied by two, three, four or five times,” Ohio Lottery explains. “For example, if a player wins $10,000 on Mega Millions and the Megaplier number drawn is 4, the total winnings will be $40,000 ($10,000 x 4) if the Megaplier box is also checked on the betting card.”

The top prize will grow until a ticket is eventually won.

It was back on December 30, 2003, when Rebecca Jamison of South Euclid won $162 million, according to the Ohio Lottery.
