Xiaomi takes its Apple-inspired solutions to another level. According to new reports, the company may soon appear on the market of the flagship model Pro Max. And most likely, the smartphone will appear by the end of this year. It will probably have a bigger screen, which gives more momentum to Max’s nickname.
Xiaomi could use this smartphone to show its alleged partnership with Leica for the camera, which is likely to excite buyers. Raising the price range requires the company to polish its software, and larger phones will also need a larger battery to maintain the form factor and its performance.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro Max should ideally be above the current flagship Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphone. Given the deadlines mentioned in the leak, Xiaomi could use the future Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset for this device. It can have the same 50-megapixel triple rear camera module or adjust it to install a larger sensor. The Xiaomi 12 Pro Max may be the company’s first smartphone to get the 200-watt fast charging speed it has demonstrated in the past.
So if you put all these things in a package, the Xiaomi 12 Pro Max smartphone can prove to be a strong contender for people like Samsung, Google and even Apple. And knowing how Xiaomi works, its Pro Max smartphone can cost much less than the one you pay for the Samsung Galaxy Ultra or Apple iPhone Pro Max options on the market.
We hope to hear more about this flagship Xiaomi smartphone and find out if it will really hit the market this year.

Because if that happens, Xiaomi will most likely also have to enroll OnePlus among its contenders, as the latter is reportedly working on its first Ultra version as part of the OnePlus 10 series.
Either way, it would be good to have more premium devices on the market, which makes the competition tougher.
