Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro gets GPS and always-on display
Xiaomi’s latest Smart Band has a bigger screen, more features, but also a long battery life.
Xiaomi didn’t just launch new smartphones at its October 4 event this week, it also unveiled its first Pro Smart Band model. The Smart Band 7 Pro clearly shows that the Mi Band lineup has grown to become a giant on your wrist. Xiaomi is bringing the Smart Band 7 Pro to global markets after it debuted in China in July.
The Smart Band 7 Pro has an AMOLED display that includes the Always-On-Display feature and a built-in GPS that helps with easy navigation.
Price of Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro
The Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro is priced at €99 (roughly Rs. 8,100) and you get it in Black and White colors. Strap options are much brighter.
Features of Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro
The Smart Band 7 Pro has a 1.64-inch AMOLED display with a pixel density of 326ppi. You can make the screen light up thanks to the Always-On-Display feature. Xiaomi has built the Smart Band 7 Pro using a metal frame. It supports more than 110 sports modes and other health-oriented features such as SpO2 sensor, sleep monitor, heart rate sensor and more.
Alexa is the default voice assistant on wearable devices that can also be used to control smart devices. It has a 5ATM water resistance rating and GPS that is compatible with GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou and QZSS. Xiaomi claims that the Smart Band 7 Pro can last up to 12 days on a single charge.
Like the Xiaomi 12T series phones launched this week, we expect Xiaomi to launch the Smart Band 7 Pro in more countries, including India in the coming weeks. At the event, Xiaomi also unveiled the Redmi Pad tablet, which is already available in India at a starting price of Rs 14,999.
