TOLEDO — The following students have been honored for the summer 2022 semester at Mercy College in Ohio. To be placed on the Honor Roll, a student must earn a GPA of 3.3 or higher and be enrolled in 6-11 credit hours:

Amy Brock, Bachelor of Public Health, Sr., Bluffton; Seth Nelson, Bachelor of Nursing (RN-BSN Completion), Jr., Glandorf; Melanie Neal, BS in Nursing (RN-BSN Completion), Jr., and Amber Stewart, BS in Medical Imaging, Jr., Lima.

Mercy College of Ohio is a Catholic institution with a campus in Toledo and a location in Youngstown. It focuses on health and medical sciences programs.

Dean Brown joined The Lima News in 2022 as a reporter. Before The Lima News, Brown spent 38 years as an English teacher in Allen County, visiting Perry, Shawnee, Spencerville and Heir Force Community Schools. So they figured he could put together a few sentences about education and business in the area. An award-winning photographer, Brown enjoys watching old black-and-white movies, his dog, his wife and children, and his four grandchildren — not necessarily in that order.
