Selina man accused of 19 sexual acts involving minors

CELINA — Celina police on Tuesday arrested a 40-year-old man on 19 counts of sexual activity with minors.

According to a press release from the Celina Police Department, a grand jury indicted Shane Chilcoat of Celina on three counts of first-degree rape, two counts of first-degree rape with the threat of force and three counts of second-degree sexual assault, two counts of third-degree sexual assault, three counts of third-degree aggravated sexual assault, two counts of fourth-degree aggravated sexual assault, one count of fourth-degree felony indecency with a minor and one count of second-degree attempted rape.

Chilcoat is being held in the Mercer County Jail and bond has not yet been set. The investigation into the allegations is ongoing.
