COLUMBUS, OH – Columbus Police Dept said a man wanted in connection with a homicide is in custody after an east side apartment complex was cordoned off Tuesday morning.
More than a dozen units and officers, including hostage negotiators, responded to the apartment complex in the 2400 block of Burgandy Lane just before 8 a.m.
Other people in the complex were able to get out safely, police said.
Police initially said a man who had a warrant for his arrest was in the apartment. The identity of the suspect is currently unknown.
