EUGENE, RUDA. – Woods Creek’s simple yet inviting cottage-style exterior combines single and horizontal lap siding. A porch with a railing wraps around two sides of the house. The front covered porch expands to provide room for a porch swing or set of chairs.

Through the front door, the entry immediately leads you into a vaulted great room. There is a wood-burning stove in the corner of the living room, which keeps the house warm and cozy on cold winter evenings. The lighting of the wood stove can be used in the dining room, which is completely open to the living room. The bar extends from the wall, providing some separation between the kitchen and dining area while increasing available seating. The kitchen is efficient and has a walk-in pantry just a few steps away. A door leads to the utility room through the kitchen. Thanks to the end-to-end design, the utility room can simultaneously serve as a mud hall, preventing dirty clothes and shoes from entering the main living area.

The three bedrooms at Woods Creek are grouped on the right side of the floor plan, but have separate access halls that allow for some separation. The owner’s suite can be accessed from the kitchen and has a walk-in closet and a bathroom with a separate shower and tub. The secondary bedroom hall is off the entry and the rooms are separated by a full bathroom.

This 1,395 square foot tiny house plan is comfortable enough to serve as a year-round residence or a great vacation spot.
