A man was killed in a crash in Fayette County on Wednesday.
The sheriff’s office said the crash happened in the 4000 block of U.S. Route 62 between State Route 38 and State Route 753 around 4:30 p.m.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Christopher Steenspring, 48, was driving a 2013 GMC pickup truck northeast on US 62 when he traveled left of center and struck a semi-trailer that was traveling southwest.
Steenspring, of Madison in Lake County, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-trailer and a passenger in the cabin received minor injuries.
OSHP said Steenspring was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
US 62 northbound between the two state routes is closed due to the crash.
