CLEVELAND — Cleveland Browns All-Pro linebacker Myles Garrett was taken to the hospital after being involved in a one-car crash after practice on Monday.

The team said Garrett did not suffer life-threatening injuries, but did not release further details on his condition. The Browns said they are gathering more information.

According to WKYC in Cleveland, the crash happened on State Route 18 in Medina County. Garrett reportedly lost control of his Porsche and the vehicle overturned onto the right side of the roadway.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Garrett and the female passenger were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Impairment is not a suspected factor in the accident.

Garrett and the Browns returned to practice after a long weekend with a home win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night.

Garrett, 26, who is just one sack away from the team’s career sack leader, had two pass tackles in the win.

One of the NFL’s most dominant players, Garrett was selected by Cleveland with the No. 1 overall pick in 2017. Last season, he set a team single-season record with 16 sacks.
