The lodge will have 81 guest rooms, a restaurant, a takeaway cafe, swimming pools and more.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – After two years of construction Hocking Hills State Park Lodge and Conference Center officially scheduled to open this weekend.

The new 74,000-square-foot lodge, located on State Route 664 South, will open to the public on October 8. It has 81 guest rooms and views of the surrounding Hocking Hills State Park.

“The Forest Pavilion and Gazebo will be among the most popular guest areas at the lodge,” said Hocking Hills State Park Lodge and Conference Center General Manager Todd Tucker. “Our staff is excited to welcome people to what is sure to be an iconic location in Hocking County.”

The hotel features full-service dining at the Rock House Restaurant and Pub, take-out cafes, function space for up to 230 people, a fitness center, gift shop, indoor and outdoor pools, and more.

“People have been anxious to get into this new, state-of-the-art lodge, and we’re excited to finally welcome them,” said Ohio Department of Natural Resources Director Mary Mertz. “We hope the public will come and see what we’ve built, appreciate its beauty and enjoy the new space with their loved ones just in time for the beautiful fall views.”

According to the website, a room with a king bed costs approximately $179 per night. The opening of reservations begins as early as October 9, according to a release from ODNR.
