Vivo introduced its smartphone Y16 in India today. It comes in two variants – 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB and two finish options – Stellar Black and Drizzling Gold. The Vivo Y16 will compete with budget offerings from companies like Motorola, Redmi and Realme. The phone can be purchased from the Vivo e-store and retail partners across India.

Vivo Y16 is powered by MediaTek P35 processor paired with 3GB + 32GB or 4GB + 64GB RAM and storage options. The device features a 6.51-inch HD+ display with 2.5D curved edges to deliver a refined experience. In terms of optics, Vivo has opted for a dual camera setup that has a 13-megapixel primary sensor with a secondary 2-megapixel macro camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. To power all this, the Vivo Y16 uses a large 5000mAh battery.
In addition, the Vivo Y16 also features MicroSD memory expansion, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an eye protection mode to reduce eye strain from blue light.
