The Cincinnati Pickleball Club will host a “Monster Smash” tournament at the newly renovated Sawyer Point Courts | Sports and recreation Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Pickleball Club is hosting its third annual Monster Smash, a three-day Halloween-themed tournament.

The event will take place on October 7-9 at St recently renovated Sawyer Point Pickleplex courts remodeled earlier this year to accommodate Cincinnati’s new pickleball scene. According to the Cincinnati Pickleball Club (CPC), the hybrid game of tennis, badminton and ping pong was launched in January 2020 during the pandemic.

In accordance with CPC websitethe tournament will feature men’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles, adult singles and doubles, as well as a first-ever college division.

Those who take part will receive either a boxed lunch or a food voucher, as well as a drinks ticket. Friday and Saturday nights will also feature live music, food trucks on site and open play after the tournament.

All CPC members will receive a discount on registration. Annual CPC membership is $20 per person and $30 per couple. Additional information: cincinnatipickleballclub.com.
