COLUMBUS — Nominations are open for the Ohio Fire Department Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony. The annual ceremony honors deserving firefighters.

The Hall of Fame selects firefighters in eight different categories. Ohio Fire Department Citizen Award, Ohio Fire Department Valor Award, Ohio Fire Department Distinguished Service Award, Ohio Fire Department of the Year Award, Ohio Fire Instructor of the Year Award, Ohio Fire Officer of the Year Award, Ohio Fire Educator of the Year and Ward Firefighter Award Ohio Teacher Lifetime Achievement Award. A total of 17 firefighters were awarded in 2021.
