Underwater information: Delphos St. team. John’s won the Division III junior golf championship

BOWLING GREEN — Delphos St. John’s won the Division III boys meet Thursday at Stone Ridge Golf Club to earn a team spot in the state tournament along with Minster and Ottaville.

DSJ finished with a total of 328, with Minster (339) second and Ottaville (343) third.

Medalist Jack Herker (74), fourth-overall Tyce McClain (78), Collin Feathers (82) and Caden Wright (94) contributed to the Blue Jays’ championship total.

Mitchell Bornhorst (81), Luis Magota (83), Ray Purdy (86) and Nathan Beir (89) posted the scores used for Munster’s total.

Grant Leys (80), who was tied for ninth individually, Blake Kortacrax (87), Keaton Schnipke (87) and Michael Turnwald (89) rounded out Ottaville’s total.

Runner-up Parker Judy (75) of Lima Central and fourth-place finisher Will Otto (78) of Miller City earned individual state berths.

Marion Local (353) was seventh, Kalida (360) was 11th, Allen East (406) was 17th.

Cole Brunswick (81), Marcus Rethman (84), Brandon Eyink (91) and Grant Kramer (97) totaled Marion Local.

Robert Nartker (83), Jack Stechschulte (89), Kayla Nartker (93) and Ethan Warnecke (95) used the rounds to rate Kalida.
