The event will feature a variety of vendors, local organizations and food trucks.
Sylvania, Ohio — The Sylvania Chamber of Commerce is bringing back the Sylvania Fall Festival for its 36th year. Presented by Dave White Chevrolet and Chevy Dealers of Northwest Ohio, the annual fall event is sure to be a hit with plenty of vendors, food and activities to check out.
50 vendors, consisting of market-style craft and farmer’s stands, will populate historic downtown Sylvania. Guests can also enjoy 10 food trucks, live music throughout the weekend and the 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament.
Those looking for an evening event should definitely check out the Nite Lite Farmers Market on Saturday, October 15th. Live music, vendors and a corn hole tournament will keep everyone entertained. On the same day, at 16.00, the corn tournament will start.
Don’t forget to bring the kids on Sunday, October 16th for the annual parade. Several marching bands will be represented – Northview, Southview, Evergreen High School and the Lourdes University marching bands who want to put on a show for parade watchers.
Grandstands have been added to the parade route along Main Street for better viewing. The parade will start at 1:00 p.m.
Plus, there’s plenty of fun to be had in the Family Fun Zone – bouncy houses, pony rides, free pumpkins and more. Live music and vendors will remain throughout the day.
Don’t miss the costumes – Trick or Treating will take place on Main Street on Sunday at 2pm.
A free shuttle service has been added to the event to ease parking issues. Parking will be available on the ProMedica Flower Hospital campus. The trolley will operate a pick-up and drop-off section from ProMedica to downtown Sylvania and will operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The festival will be held in Historic Downtown Sylvania on Saturday, October 15th from 4:00pm to 10:00pm and Sunday, October 16th from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Be sure to check out the fun, fall festivities!
